Cedars-Sinai Text Message Program Terms & Conditions
By proving us with your mobile number you affirmatively consent to join the Cedars-Sinai SMS text message program (“Program”) you are consenting to receiving recurring, personalized, autodialed SMS text messages (“Messages”) that may include updates related to your visits, information about your My CS-Link account, information about your Cedars Sinai Connect account, security passcodes, billing notifications, prescription reminders, care management and other services from Cedars-Sinai (“we,” “our,” “us”). General Information
By joining the Program, you certify that (1) you are the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you reside, (2) you are the account holder of the mobile number you are enrolling (or you have the account holder’s permission to enroll the number), and (3) you agree to the practices described in these Terms.
Cedars-Sinai will not share your mobile number with non-service provider third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
Cedars-Sinai does not charge you for Messages, however, message and data rates may apply. Depending on your text and data plan, you may be charged by your carrier to receive Messages. The number of Messages you receive may vary depending on your interactions with us.
You agree to maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date information with us, including by contacting us at webmaster@cshs.org if you cease being the account holder or no longer have the account holder’s permission to receive Messages at the mobile number you enrolled to receive Messages.
Autodialer or non-autodialer technology may be used to send the Messages described above to the mobile number you enroll in the Program. By joining the Program you agree to receive Messages via autodialer technology.
You consent to the use of electronic record-keeping to document your consent to receive Messages. You do not have to consent to receive marketing text messages as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Messaging
To stop receiving Messages, respond “STOP” to any Message you have received. Users may receive one additional Message confirming opt-out. You can also text “HELP” if you need assistance with the Program. Note that you have to unsubscribe from each Messages service you consented to in order to completely withdraw from reciving all Messages.
Cedars-Sinai does not guarantee availability or performance of text messaging services and is not responsible for delays related to the transmission of Messages or for undelivered Messages.
Messages may not be available in all areas or supported by all carriers or all devices. Wireless carriers may be added or removed from the Program at any time without notice. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered Messages.
